This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

When you install the App and use our services, you trust us with your personal information. We take your privacy very seriously. In this privacy policy, we seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it. We hope you take some time to read through it carefully, as it is important. If there are any terms in this privacy policy that you do not agree with, please discontinue the use of our App and our services.

This privacy policy applies to all information collected through the App, and/or any related services, sales, marketing or events (we refer to them collectively in this privacy policy as the "Services").

Please read this privacy policy carefully as it will help you make informed decisions about sharing your personal information with us.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Personal information you disclose to us

In Short: We collect minimal personal information, strictly limited to what is necessary for the app to function.

When you install the App, we request minimal access to your Shopify account, strictly limiting our data collection to only what is essential for the font customization functionality:

  • Access to store information (name, URL) for authentication purposes only
  • Access to Theme assets - only for implementing custom fonts in your store's theme
  • Access to theme files necessary to inject custom font code
  • Access to Shopify's file system - only to reference the font files you upload, not to store them on our servers

The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect can include the following:

  • Store Information. We collect your store name, URL, and business email only for account management and authentication.

  • Typography Settings Only. We do not store any font files on our servers. All font files are stored directly on Shopify's file system under your store's account. We only store your typography settings to implement your custom fonts.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Limited Technical Information

In Short: We collect minimal technical information required only for the proper functioning of the app.

We collect very limited technical information when you use our Services. This includes basic usage data necessary for troubleshooting and ensuring the app functions correctly. We specifically do not collect IP addresses, geolocation data, or extensive device information.

Our app follows data minimization principles, meaning we only use your information for the specific purpose of providing custom font functionality. We limit our data use to:

  • Basic App Functionality. We use theme access to implement your selected fonts throughout your Shopify store. We do not use your data for any other purposes beyond providing the core font service.

  • Technical Support Only. We only use store information when needed to provide technical support if you contact us with an issue. Your information is never used for marketing purposes.

  • Anonymized Performance Monitoring. We use completely anonymized data to monitor app performance and fix technical issues. This data cannot be traced back to individuals.

  • Security and Legal Compliance. We use minimal information needed to maintain app security and comply with legal requirements.

  • Typography Settings Only. We do not store any font files on our servers. All font files are uploaded and stored directly on your Shopify store's file system. We only store your typography settings to provide the app's core functionality.

We do not:

  • Use your data for marketing purposes
  • Build user profiles
  • Share your information with third parties for advertising
  • Track user behavior beyond the essential font functionality
